STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN PAI BERBASIS TASAWUF UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KARAKTER ISLAMI SISWA DI SMA AL- ISTIQOMAH PASAMAN BARAT
Abstract
This study discusses Sufism-based PAI learning strategies to develop Islamic character at Al-Istiqomah Private High School. The research is descriptive-qualitative, while Sufism-based Islamic religious education is the main source of data for this study. The study also included ideas about understanding learning techniques, theories about Islamic religious education, and beliefs about how Muslims develop their personalities as secondary data sources. Observation, interviews, and documentation are used as data collection methods. The processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-making are used in data analysis methodology. Based on the findings of the study, Al-Istiqomah Private High School uses two learning techniques in the Sufism-based PAI learning approach to foster Islamic character development in Al-Istiqomah Private High School: direct strategies using the targhib wa tarhib method, persuasive, and indirect strategies through habituation of worship, example, and discipline, as well as examples of respect for others.
