UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BAGI SISWA KELAS III SDN 08 KOTO BARU
Abstract
The low mastery of multiplication counting skills is most likely due to the teacher being less precise in choosing the method or media in learning. Grade II students think that their way of thinking is still on concrete objects, while the teacher does not pay attention to it so that it is possible for students to experience difficulties. Based on the results of initial observations at SD Negeri 08 Koto Baru, it is known that the average mathematics learning outcomes of students in the even mid-semester exams for the 2021/2022 school year in third grade students at SD Negeri 08 Koto Baru are not satisfactory because they are still far from the KKM set at school. ie 72. This classroom action research was conducted at SD Negeri 08 Koto Baru, located in Dharmasraya Regency. The implementation of this PTK will be carried out in August - November 2021. It is concluded that the application of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes for third grade students at SD NEGERI 08 KOTO NEW and increase the average score of cycle I and cycle II, which is equal to 8 points. In addition, the increase in classical completeness also occurred by 33.33%. The application of problem based learning (PBL) learning models can improve mathematics learning outcomes for third grade students at SD Negeri 08 Koto Baru.
